Piceance

The Piceance Basin is a geologic structural basin in Northwestern Colorado.  It features liquids rich natural gas. Its tight sands formation lies at depths between 6,000 to 10,000 feet. 

The Piceance Basin has been estimated to contain trillions of cubic feet of natural gas, making it the second-largest natural gas basin in the United States after the Marcellus Shale, according to USGS.
