President and Chief Executive Officer
Warren Zemlak has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since January 2017. With over 28 years of experience, Mr. Zemlak has held progressively senior global and North American leadership roles encompassing operations, technology, business development, manufacturing and executive positions related to cementing, hydraulic fracturing, coiled tubing and completion services.
Prior to joining BJ Services, Mr. Zemlak served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Allied Energy Services. Previously, he served as Vice President Well Services and Senior Vice President of Production Services at Schlumberger where he was responsible for pressure pumping, completions and artificial lift.
Mr. Zemlak’s technical and operational expertise has resulted in several patents related to reservoir stimulation, subsea intervention and horizontal drilling technology. Additionally, Mr. Zemlak has led business optimization throughout several market cycles in both public and private entities.
Mr. Zemlak completed a field engineering cross over program from Dowell Schlumberger in 1991 (Bottesford, England) as well as several Schlumberger Management Development programs supported by IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland) and other select academic institutions.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Caleb Barclay has served as our Chief Operating Officer since January 2017. Mr. Barclay has over 16 years of experience in various senior management and operational roles.
Prior to joining BJ Services, Mr. Barclay served as Chief Operating Officer of Allied Energy Services. He began his career as a Field Engineer in fracturing for Schlumberger in the Permian Basin and has since has held senior management positions with Sanjel USA, overseeing fracturing, cementing, and coiled tubing operations, supply chain, engineering and sales.
Mr. Barclay holds a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Resource Engineering from Colorado State University.
Evelyn M. Angelle

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Evelyn Angelle has served as our Chief Financial Officer since January 2017. She brings over 29 years of experience in leading financial planning, accounting, supply chain, and investor relations.
Prior to joining the company, Ms. Angelle spent 12 years at Halliburton working in various senior roles, including Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain, Chief Accounting Officer, and Head of Investor Relations. Before joining Halliburton, Ms. Angelle worked for 15 years in the audit department of Ernst & Young LLP, where she specialized in serving large, multinational public companies and provided technical accounting and consultation to clients and other professionals. She has served on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. since 2011.
Ms. Angelle is a certified public accountant in Texas and a certified management accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Saint Mary’s College.
Vice President, Human Resources
Malcolm O’Neal has served as our Vice President, Human Resources since February 2017. Mr. O’Neal brings over 20 years of experience as a Human Resource Officer advising executives and boards in complex, global companies.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. O’Neal previously held senior management positions including Vice President of HR Corporate Functions at Tyco International, Chief Human Resources Officer at Ascend Performance Materials, North American HR Vice President Schindler Elevator Company, and human resources leadership roles at Dupont, Wyeth and Milliken.
Mr. O’Neal holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, a Masters in Human Resource Development and a Masters in Business Administration.
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
John Bakht has served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel since June 2017. A business lawyer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, he heads the company’s legal affairs and also serves as our Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Bakht spent more than half of his career at Baker Hughes Incorporated, where he held several senior roles including Vice President – Legal. Immediately prior to joining BJ, he served as Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary of CARBO Ceramics Inc.
Mr. Bakht holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Texas.
Vice President, EHS&Q
Jim Collins has served as Vice President EHS&Q since January 2017. He brings over 35 years of experience and leads the creation and implementation of the environment, health, safety, and quality system for all operating regions in the company.
Previously Mr. Collins has held various senior management and operating positions within oilfield services and pressure pumping companies, significantly improving field operation efficiency and safety records. Prior to joining BJ Services, Mr. Collins served as Director, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality at Allied Services, Vice President of Corporate HSE & Quality at Sanjel Corporation, and Director, Corporate Quality Assurance at Trican Well Services.
Mr. Collins holds a Patent for Shock-Release Fluid Fracturing Method and Apparatus and a Post-Secondary degree in Industrial Radiology.
